If you are looking to upload a blacklist or suppression file, you’re in the right place.
Follow the steps below to import a list of emails.
Step 1 – Prepare Your File #
The first step before importing your blacklist is to prepare the file. LeadEngines currently supports .txt files for importing. Create a brand new text file on your computer using Google Sheets, Excel, or a simple note pad. Make sure each email is listed on it’s own line.
Use our Google Sheets template here:
Then save your file as a .csv or .txt file.
Note: We do not currently support MD5 encrypted suppression files, but this is on our roadmap! If this is urgent for you, reach out to our team for assistance.
Step 2 – Import #
Go to Sending, and click Blacklist from the menu.
Next, click the import button.
Select your .csv or .txt file from your computer and select import.
Wait for the file to finish importing. Depending on the size of your file this can take a few seconds or several minutes. You can always close the window and return later and the file will still import.
That’s it! The emails imported will now be excluded from all your sends automatically.
Remove blacklisted email #
If you need to remove an email from the black list simply click remove under the blacklist listings action.
